Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR) anunta, in calitate de Partener Oficial al Federatiei Romane de Tenis, continuarea circuitului BCR FUTURES ROMANIA si organizarea in aceasta saptamana, la Centrul National de Tenis din Bucuresti, a „Turneului Florenta Mihai”.

Turneul ce poarta numele uneia dintre cele mai mari jucatoare romane din toate timpurile, Florenta Mihai (finalista, ca jucatoare, la Roland Garros, in 1977 si implicata de ani buni in organizarea turneelor de tenis din Romania), si-a stabilit deja tablourile principale, atat in competitia de simplu, cat si in cea de dublu.
La simplu, Romania are inscrise pe tabloul principal 21 de jucatoare, dintr-un total de 32, in timp ce la dublu apar pe tabloul principal 22 de jucatoare din Romania.
„Sunt mandra ca exista un turneu in Bucuresti, care imi poarta numele. Pot sa spun ca sunt extrem de emotionata si multumesc celor care sunt implicati pentru ca aceste turnee sa existe in Romania. De aici pornesc tinerele talente pe care sa ne bazam pe viitor” - Florenta Mihai – director turneu.
Federatia Romana de Tenis (FRT) si Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR) continua drumul spre performanta pentru tenisul romanesc. In cadrul acestei cooperari, cei doi parteneri dezvolta colaborarea in cadrul circuitului BCR FUTURES ROMANIA, ce contine o serie de 17 turnee (9 masculine si 8 feminine). Acestea vor avea loc in Bucuresti, Pitesti, Bacau, Brasov, Medias, Cluj, Iasi, Craiova, Arad, Onesti, Bals. Turneele se desfasoara in perioada mai – septembrie 2010, fiecare turneu fiind dotat cu premii de 10.000 de dolari.

Tenisul a fost considerat cea mai buna optiune pentru strategia BCR de sponsorizare sportiva. Este un sport care se adreseaza tuturor, care poate fi practicat la orice varsta si ale carui valori coincid cu valorile BCR: dinamism, incredere, calitate, recunoastere a performantei, profesionalismului si a muncii de echipa.
